:) Pretty awesome OstiaMan. All the parts sound really good. Just needs a little louder vocals in my opinion, but it does rock.

Dos preguntas, por favor

1. Graba esta cancaion en la casa, o en el estudio profesional?

2. Puede aumentar el vocal?

Muy Excelente!!!!!!!!!

The vocals could come up a little bit but not much. The rest of it sounds damned good. There...was that succinct?

The vocals could come out more. Thats what they all tell me also-lol.... The kick could come down a hair or maybe some EQ on it. Other than that the song rips. Its heavy and I like heavy. It does sound a bit like Korn. Good stuff.

I think the instruments sound very good. But, the vocal really needs to come up, and maybe even be doubled (like most of the rap vocals) and it will sound 10 times better, to me at least.
Very well done

Very solid sound!! This is your first? You have sharp ears. The vocals need to come up a LOT though. Don't hide that sneering machismo, baby, let it hang the hell OUT. They are cool as hell, but completely buried in the saturated crunchiness of the backgrounds. Also, for my taste, the snare has the life compressed out of it. It needs more snap-crackle to keep the groove moving, it can border on the ponderous without that. It's more exacerbated when the double time section comes in.

Other than that, it's a really fine acquisition and mix. I'm very impressed, especially for a first effort!! Well done sir!

for you are crunchy, and go well with ketchup.

Yes, I record this att home, we (my and my band www.jauria.com) spend a few bucks in some equipment. And I have been reading a lot about recording. I did some things before in cakewalk but not real drums or real bass, so this is my first "real" time recording the real thing. I'll fix the vocal problems, and will have them doubled to see how it works.

thanks to all!

real sweet man. how did you record the kick? what compresion settings did you use?

The drum is a Yamaha advance, so that help alot. I remove the front head and place the mic (sennheiser e-602) where the hole should be, pointing where is gona be hit. I cut a lot of low mids (250-350Hz) and boost 10kHz.
I realy don't remember the compresor setting. But I belive it was something like ratio 5:1 or 4:1, attack10-20ms, threshold ???
I didn't use much compresor on the kick, I only used it to have an even sound

Listen to Korn? Very nice recording, the bass sounds great to me, vocals definitely need to come up but sound good. I can't believe this is a first. A real kit you say? The cymbals and high hat had a strange whirl, maybe the MP3 compression? Sounds great, keep it up, you'll be fine :D

Nice job. The first thing I thought was "nice bass sound." The guitars sounded nice too. All the instruments were well recorded and sit well in the mix.

As others have said, the vocals are too far back. Bring them up quite a bit.

Again - good job.

That's freakin' awsome man. The vocals could come up, but this is pretty amazing as is.
What kind of setup do you have going there?

This thing rocks like mad. I love it! Certainly not a bad mix... my ears craved a little more room sound on it, so that all the elements would "gel" better, or something... sounded a bit too "separate" at times, but what was there was recorded expertly. I'll give you a more detailed reply when I return from my plane trip on Monday. Thanks for sharing your song, man! Peace!

thanks!
besides the vocals whay you think i should get improved?

Get the fuck out!!
The intro sounds like suicidal, real bright and clear. Ok, the vox are way too quiet and thin. The kick is too clicky for this style. Try a little cut at the 3-6khz and give it a little more boom in the 100-180hz.

Pretty damn good if it is really a first time...but I don't believe that.

great Pop mix!!!! I'd like to hear this with real drums tho. And if those are real drums, Id like to hear it without so much compression and triggering

great bass tone

this SURE sounds like the mixing style of a certain engineer....maybe he came to your house and helped ? :)
