Chess is right, but if you go for this mic get one of the older ones.
The newer ones ARE bright. Too bright for broadcast.
Watch the auctions. Make damn sure you get one with the XLR connector or you'll be connecting two cables together if you need the length.
The Tushel connector is particular to Europe. It is a four-pin screw-on connector that doesn't get on well in the States.
There were also early models without the five-position bass roll-off rotary switch, Don't buy this one either.
Most I think you'll be safe with. Most are the regular MD-421U, but ask to be sure. You missed a hell of a deal two nights ago on E-bay. There were two MD-421's going for $235 listed by the same person. That $235 was the "Buy it Now Price". They'er long gone.
