Good luthiers in the Chicagoland Area (NW Suburbs)

I currently own a G&L Legacy HB with the v-neck. My hands fatigue rather quickly with the v. G&L charges about $500 for a new neck. They suggested that I shave my current one, but I don't know of any good luthiers in the area to shave the v down to standard.

Does anyone know of a good one out here?

What part of NW burbs are you from BTW?

Oh no!!!! It's been about 2 years since I took anything there so I guess stuff happens but man he was fantastic and quick, and reasonably priced... A decent honest luthier is hard to find, I guess that's partly why when I moved I started working on my own stuff.
