Got a new 13 inch Macbook pro, its got the usb 3 and firewire. Im wondering what some of the best interfaces would be for it? (preferably under 800 bucks). I dont want to record drums so I dont need a ton of instrument inputs, I just wanna record vocals, bass, electric and accoustic guitar. I'll be using a condenser microphone to record with if that makes any difference. Also if it helps, the program I'm gonna be recording with will be Reaper. I was using a presonus audiobox for my pc but I had problems with it and am not very happy with it. I'd research interfaces more myself but I'm not tech savy and don't really know what alot of stuff means, so do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks

So Motu interfaces sound pretty good huh? Ive also heard that RME stuff sounds good too, but is pricey

There's so much good stuff.

USB focusrite Scarlett series ($250).
FW focusrite saffire series ($250).

Awesome stuff and comes from 2in 4out up to 8in 10out. Very expandable. I use a saffire pro 40 with reaper and have zero issues.

But there's so much good stuff that all I can recommend is what I have experience with.
