I ran this punk ass Yamaha through Reason 2.0, and if you're not on your p's & q's you might mistake it or a Triton. All you need is a Keyboard that can run Midi......

Any keyboard will do the job. It just depends on how hip you are to hop and if your fingers will do the job.

Most synths give you so much to choose from, and tweak and create that you are bound to come up with what you like if you work at it.

I've been told by all my hip hop friends that all you need is a Karma and an AKAI MPC and you've got a studio.

Also, I've heard the PK6 by proteus with the Mo Phatt sound library is fairly dope as well.
