I've searched the internet high and low and can't find good drum samples. Where can I get some fairly realistic-sounding samples?

depends how much you wanna spend

Drumkit From Hell
Discreet Drums
Naked Drums
NYC Drumworks

What kind of music are you trying to sequence? Tubedude regularly recommends the Drumkit from Hell, but the timbre only really works for metal/hard rock.

If you're looking for really cheap, look at the BlueJay drums from SonicImplants. If you're willing to spend a little, Discrete Drums is the way to go

Good Luck
Chris

BTW- there's plenty plenty of samples posted on this website. Use the search function and check it out:p

try computer music, look for my post back a few months ago asking basicly the same question, there's an ftp site that carries fruity loops patches that sound really good (metal - rock - pop) i'm testing a new system at the moment and don't have the link on me.... sorry

it's getting harder to find wav samples today with web biz in the shitter like it is, there all going mp3 :( or want a subscription, there's still a few handling wav though, do a google under drum samples or wav samples... just a thought...

you'd think this forum would have a section devoted to sample links or a "how to" at the beginning each section, naw, wouldn't want it to be easy for anyone would we... bla...
