I have been made an offer to buy some mic's. Figured I'd come to you guys and see if it is worth it, or a total rip off.

The deal is a Behringer XM1800S 3 pack for $80 AU. Comes with a mic cable also.

Do you think it's worth taking and what are your experiences with this microphone if you've used it?

It won't be, you know, *amazing* or anything. It'll work. The street price here in the U.S. is abotu $43, which is a heck of a lot less than $80 AU. Caveat emptor, I guess. Personally I think you'd be better off with one SM57 than 3 of those...
