dunno if Im brave enough for that ;)

maybe when the new axe arrives tomorrow

You'll only get bashed if you talk a big game and don't deliver - ala that klops guy.

Everyone is very friendly and supportive in that thread, unless you talk a big game and don't deliver.

yep ...... it's truly a no-judgement zone and that's way cool.
Hell , when i finally post some live clips I bet I don't even get more than 3 pages of grief over my songlist!

:D

How did that new guitar turn out today KC?

it just arrived about an hour ago and I like it....but while putting the box away I dropped a snowboard and the metal edge has sliced my toe lol :(

clumsy git

anyway when it stops bleeding im going to crank it up with the new software before the missus gets home, with the coil tap and HSS set up there seems to be quite a few options :)

I have a behringer V amp pro (silver face) - Just for messing around. Haven't used it for recording.
My Rpcktron started glitching out so I'm currently gigging with the V Amp2 ...... clean's acceptable but on the distortion sounds there's fizz galore lurking beneath the surface just waiting for you to bear down on the strings a bit.
I think I'm gonna order one of those Digitech RP 70s. They're cheap and ought to sound better than my older stuff.

I'm the Margaret Thatcher of the guitar world.

Enjoy your new gee-tar.

When you coming back down to H-town?

Had a good blast on it today...nice axe, very nice for the price

Man id like another texas visit...but you are to damned humid...though that pizza....;)

I like the Line6 POD, too. They even make a software only version, but I don't know how to get it outside of Record/Reason. I use this for most of my guitar work...but I only record for my own amusement and amazement.

Give it a few months. When everyone else is freezing and snowed in, we'll be a lovely mild 75-80 degrees. :D

The LARPers will be out in full force!

Waves GTR is really good. i have also heard using a guitar amp with a di in front of it improves the sound: the string response is more natural. And ampeg SVX is king for bass!
