Just wondering what they are and how they play.
Heard that even the lower lines, SD and Exit 22, are made in Canada and USA. At least it sounds great stuff from their website..

Any information, experience about/with them?

Tried a couple of their basses in a music store a few weeks back. Thought they played nice and sounded excellent.

I hav enever played a bad Godin. They play beautifully, look gorgeous, and I think are priced consistent with their quality.

My only reserve would be that, sadly like many other companies, will not take back instruments for repair after the warranty.

But if you have good techs in your area, they are awesome!

My wife bought me a Godin bass a while late last year, and I love it. Nice sound, and it plays well. Was not badly priced either. I am happy. :D

They are very well made, and I too have not played a bad one. They all have bolt on necks, as they believe the wood on wood contact is better for the sound since there is no glue in the way. They are very cheap for the excellent quality and are made in Canada and the U.S. Personally I love the feel of the Godin LG necks.

I'm no electric guit guru, but I definitely dig my LG SP90. Fit and finish is perfect. Quality materials and craftmanship. And it plays like a dream. I would definitely buy another.

Yeah my next guitar will be a Godin...Felt buttery smooth...they do a great job on the the way the necks are made and feel, and the body rests nicely agianst your's like that old girlfriend used to...lol...seriously, my buddy bought one and then had the synth P/U added with the Roland set up...VERY NICE...the tracking was excellent and the guitar produces some very unique sounds because of the blending you can do with the P/U's...

DEFINATELY WORTHY...

peace

I've got a Godin LGX-SA, and concur with all the praise that has been given above. Sound, feel, finish, playability - all are excellent.

One of my favorite guitars.

I can't really comment with regard to a comparison to a Strat, however, the LGX series (with the piezos and the Seymour Duncan HB's) allow you to dial in just about any combination of tone.
While you may not get a true single coil sound, you may be pleasantly surprised with what you can achieve - give one a try if you can.
