GLS mics?

I once had a cellist mic'd up with a regular 57 (live sound, not recording). She found out that she could screw around with it, and send some very interesting noises through the PA.

She thought it was "funny".

Other things that annoy me are when people chew with their mouths open, use cell phones while driving, wrap cables over their arms, send me business emails in shorthand...

I guess, like any other person, really silly things bother me.


I'll agree with all the other annoying things you mentioned, but the swivel head of the 57 never has. I'll take that back, it's annoying when newbies post "I think my 57 is broken" because they think the head should be stationary.
 
I've got one of the 57s and I find I like it better than the Shure when it comes to micing up heavily distorted/high gain type guitars. Also very decent on snares, but I'm finding myself reaching for the GLS before the Shure when micing up my amp.
