nice, but not sure about bass guitar.

I really like it...although the bass guitar seems to lack sonic clarity...cuts across as being rather subby lacking in punch and character...

Since my bass guitar skillz rank the same as a kindergardener's, I actually employed a keyboard bass for this one, Ben.

Hence, I downplayed it's punch ... and tried to blend it non-distinctly in w/ the kick ... allowing the punch to come from the drum instead.

The added benefit of less bass is also less masking, thereby allowing the upper freqs to better cut through this dense mix ... for as you know, there's a shitload of "stuff" going on in this one.

The intentional downplaying aspect explained ...

FWIW ...

New mix version uploaded.

I fixed a slight phase issue w/ the lead vocal, and I raised the bass up a half db ... I may have made it a little to blended into the kick.
