So here's my computer:

CPU - AMD K7 ATHLON 1.5GHZ
MOBO - ELITE GROUP ECS K7AMA
PWR SPPLY - HEROLCHI ELECTRONITCS CO.
HEC-300AR 300 WATTS
HDS - WD 13.6BH 7200 RPM
WD 100 GB 7200 RPM
RAM - 256MB DDR RAM

It's running Windows 2000 and has been successfully using my Hoontech/ST Audio DSP24 Value Souncard in conjunction with the latest WDM driver.

WHERE I'VE GONE WRONG, is in trying to install a new soundcard, namely, the digi9652 to run in conjunction with Nuendo. The driver installs, the Device Manager recognizes the soundcard but has a yellow ! next to it.

Soooo, with these facts in mind, I want to know if anyone sees a obvious or not so obvious conflict between my existing hardware and this particular card. I turned off IRQ steering from the standard PC section of the device manager but that didn't seem to help. Does anyone have any ideas about how I can get this card to work with my machine?

I appreciate all forthcoming experience and advice.

yeah, I kind of figured this would be a little too specific of a question. With that in mind, I'll broaden the scope a bit.

I read that, on occasion, a substandard power supply causes RME Hammerfall cards to fail at the start up stage. So my new question then becomes...

DOES ANYONE HAVE THIS RME digi9652 CARD AND, IF YOU DO, WHAT POWER SUPPLY DO YOU HAVE?

ps-I apologize for the shouting above. I was just thought I'd draw attention to the meat of the post. I'll shut up now and hope someone can help.
