(a few) crappy no name/RS mics

I have a UA2108 pre (my good pre)
one DBX 128a
a Tascam M30 mixer. 8 channels. (good pres but no phantom)

..... and a situation of recording a 4 pc. (drums/guit/guit/bass) rock band "as live as possible." ....... in my living room and adjacent room ........

How might I set up for the drums???

I was just going to go with a single OH/snare/kick/front of kit.
Thinking .... MD1b (OH to M30) / MD441 (snare to UA2108) / RE20 (kick to M30) / M179 (front of kit to UA2108)

...... or I had thought about instead of one mic in back of the kit and over it, puttining both the MD1b and M179 in front on opposite sides below the cymbals ........... because I've been experimenting and with dis-similar mics as a stereo pair which creates very interesting stereo fields.

Then I have the bass going direct and the sm57/nt3 and m500/md1b for guit cabs ......... wich will prolly have one second layer for the rythm guit parts.

Vox will be done separate.

Any opinions or other thoughts???

Sounds ok to me. Go ahead and try both positions on your drum OH mic ideas and see what you get. Overdubbing vocals is a good idea.
