If you arent wanting review on one specific song it seems like you are spamming for yourself/site.

So just have us review one song.

Do it.

Thanks for leaving something

I have been reading this forum for years

my "real" studio has only been up about a year and a half and so I have just

recently joined

and I have made all the music on my site in that time

this is not spam, all my music is free, and not a crappy low bit sample

my site has been up for 2 or 3 weeks and I am proud of all the music, etc

I probably should have a link to one song, but if you only have time for one

rip one apart, then come back when you have more time and rip another

if you can only listen to one listen to Coming

if you have time for another listen to Crazy Love

or just start with the first one

my main objective is for my peers to give me feedback

and vote for their favorite song

sorry for the colors all over my site, it is a baby still covered in embryonic fluid

Thanks to all that have enjoyed my site, and the music there

my site is one of the only ones I have seen with nothing for sale, and no adds

so enjoy it free, leave feedback when you can, and keep making music

Much Love,

Sean

Listened to Dear God. Very nice tune. Sounds a bit "boomy". A little bit too much bass on my system. Overall, the tune is very pretty. I like the tones, except for the boominess. Bring that down just a bit, and it will be a great song.

Thanks Dogman

the sad part is that those songs were mixed on computer speakers

not my event 20/20's (power amp died got a new one now)

thanks agian Dogman

Sean,

Sean, I listened to and enjoyed Dear God and Oh My Soul. Very creative/artistic music that strikes me as genuine and personal rather than aiming for a market niche. :) I appreciate that. Listening on crap desktop speakers at the moment so won't comment on mix related things. But the main idea that struck me as a possible suggestion wasn't anything to do with the music itself, which is very clearly and even richly recorded. The thing I'd suggest has more to do with the way the music's presented verbally and graphically on the site: Make it simple and easy to follow. Your music deserves to be heard but we're all easily confused and tend to wander off when confusion sets in. The site's confusing. Think of the simplest and clearest way to get visitors to click on the mp3s. Then add graphics and text that help with that but don't get in the way. Believe me, I say this out of experience wrestling with my own tangential creative thinking and was saved from myself by a book I read called Looking Good in Print by Roger Parker. Helped me to get across better what I wanted.

yeah the webdesign needs some work... but I think the music sounds good, I'm listening to Dear God... Its a little bit heavy on the processing/effects, but thats not bad if thats the sound you're going for...

yeah, i've just listened to Dear God - i like it. i liked how you kept interesting, even though the main idea was quite repetitive. i liked the slide guitar, and the piano especially.

i'm just listening to the coming. the drums are Cool :D i dont feel it develops quite as well as the other did - maybe add something other than the drums and strings somewhere - i'm feeling some distorted guitar chords moving downwards in inversions of the same chord? i dunno.

i don't remember it quite as well as the first, and i feel like i should...

the first one is awesome though.
