Hey, can someone who knows a lot about Giga give me a basic run down on some things...

Like, it is essentially a "soft synth" right? Where I can do MIDI from my keyboard...and gigastudio will generate the audio sounds?

Can I do any kind of loops etc. with it, or is stictly just synthesis?

Do I really need a separate PC to run it?

Yeah, I believe it's more of a soft synth / sampler.

You probably would be better of with another PC to run it from.

I've been thinking about looking into Gigastudio, but haven't really - I'll post more useful & accurate info here once I do.
