GIGAport AG....CURSE ASIO!!!!

Hey all, I just got a GIGAport AG today....its a USB box thingy with 8 rca analog outputs ($149)....but as of now SONAR Xl 2.0 only recognizes it as a two channel item since they DONT SUPPORT ASIO DRIVERS!!!! Those bastards......everything I read said an update will be out in early 2003 ... anybody know when?

I can't find anything on internet about the driver release date. This usb thingy will be a perfect way to add 8 extra outputs to my system but it only functions that way in asio mode.

I believe that there is version 2.2 being shipped early February... there was a post recently:

This will answer the timing issue.
