Gibson Les Paul Customs

hey guys, i live in a far away place from the US which sucks cuz we dont get a wide variety of guitars to play with. the only store stocking up on Gibsons are not really customer oriented, they sorta hawk on you when youre in the store . but on my recent trip to osaka, i saw a Gibson Les Paul Custom selling at about 187,000 Japanese Yen, roughly at about USD1571.00. no hawkish assistants, they let us test whatever you wanna test (enede up with a MIJ Telecaster )

Anyway, just wondering, how much would it cost for the same guitar over at the US?

i paid $1400 for my 1983 black les paul custom..... it is worth every cent

I paid $4500 Australian which is about $3400 US for this beauty brand new!

Which is kinda why all but one of our LP's were imported from the US .......and yep, that is a nice 'burst LP.

Gorty - those are 2 STUNNING pieces. Just awesome. I have a '54 reissue Les Paul Custom (black with a Bigsby). I paid $3600 Canadian. Worth every penny.

I had to set the guitar up a little with some different gauge strings and set the action to how I like it and "YES" she sounds great!
