Gibson L-1

Hey everybody. Looking to buy a used Gibson L-1. Ideally a 1929-30's/60's or one of the 1990's reissues. Ive looked all over and been beaten to the ones Ive found at least 5 or 6 times. Let me know if any of you locate one or are looking to sell.

i would get a mint reissue

Get a good oldie. Wayyyy better than anything they make these days.

Good luck finding one at an affordable price in well looked after condition though.

I cant seem to find one the non-robert johnson reissues. The 5 Star Dealer 1930's exclusive is what I would want, but its like pulling teeth to get one.

I would assume that it could still be ordered. I even inquired about that through a dealer and they had nothing for me. They have new L-1's coming out for production but it looks as though they screwed that one up too.

Have purchased a couple of nice guitars and basses off Matt over the years.

Matt is surprisingly pleasant to deal with, and would is a wealth of knowledge for historical guitars.
