Captain Sea Boots
Well, I am officially too poor to buy wood frames for the rest of the rockwool that I have. So I am planning on wrapping them in fabric for now (my band is recording all this month). Down the road I plan to build frames with plywood on one side that I can simply stuff the panels into. Anyway, here comes my question. When I made bass traps before, I used a staple gun to attach the fabric to the wooden frames. But since I am not making frames this time, how do you all wrap the insulation and keep it secure without a frame? Sewing? Velcro? Specifics please. Thanks in advance.

Milkman, I have seen your panels before and am impressed again. I may end up doing the same thing. Since I know jack about sewing, how do you sew the velcro strips to the material? Any particular knot? Forgive my retardation.
While I was cleaning out the cat's litter box, I had another idea. Could I just put a strip of cardboard down the middle and a short piece on each end (between the rockwool and cloth) and staple into that?

Here's my quick 'n dirty version of what Milkman did. I used a staple gun to tack down the ends of the fabric while I folded over the main flaps. Then I pinched the main flaps together and used a regular old desk stapler to secure them.
