Did the Google thing and it seems "What You Hear" using Dell, Sony and other manuf pre-installed Vista and Windows 7, the option has been removed or disabled. Totally SOL in my case.
Even though many have commented that right-click in the Control Panel / Sounds / Recording will get the "What You Hear" or "Stereo Mix" option to appear, I have tried on my Sony Laptop and Dell Desktop, both running Vista and still SOL.
Is there any freeware or perhaps a EXE or DLL replacement for Control Panel Sound, which is not disabling "What You Hear" ?
I need this so I can participate in the GuitarChaosLive webchat on Camfrog and play my guitar with a backing track.
