Getting things together - part II

OK, so here's another one. I'm not singing this one, my pastor laid down a scratch vocal as a tracking base for what will be a bunch of parts. But the rhythm section (all me) is good, and the horns (Kevin and Jen again) are on. Needs the bone part. But is the aux percussion too loud? I think so, but many others so far don't.

(Incidentally, "Smooth Christian" won't apply here, maybe "Smooth Latin Christian", I dunno...) :)
 
WOW - cool groove on this one. Definitely had me boppin' while listening. That sax solo was hot! Bass does pop out nicely too.... Percussion/vocals/horns seem to be on a bit of a higher plane than the rest of the mix (YMMV) but they sound good....darn good.....

Smooth Latin Christian definitely.....

Well done. I know that there lots of Charismaticos out there. Aux percussion is ok, maybe just a hair too hot. It's in a weird key to sing IMHO but Pastor could sing the final version w/ just a little practice.

Thanks, gentlemen!! I tried a trial with the perc pulled back 20% and it fits WAY better. Em is an odd vocal key, but great for guitar, I suppose. :)
