Hi All,

My first post to the forum. A pleasure to be here with y'all. I've been a ProTools user since 1997ish.

I've got an Intel iMac that I purchased in 2008. OS 10.5.8; ProTools 7.5.1. Digi CoreAudio Manager. I have a Digi002.

Whenever I boot my iMac up without booting the 002 up first and I play iTunes, it always comes through the Mac speakers. Even if I go to Preferences and select 002, launch Digi CoreAudio, still get sound through iMac speakers. I have to reboot the iMac in order to get sound out of my powered speakers (plugged into 002).

What's the fix? Select "Open at Login?". Haven't tried that yet.

Thanks.

I think you mean Pro Tools 7.4.2 - there was no 7.5.1.

I too have experienced this problem, and haven't found the solution so it'd be good to hear anyone's experiences.

I think that booting the system with the 002 already powered up may be the only solution.
