Getting heard on the internet...

I write music in my spare time and would like to get heard. I have a Myspace, Soundclick, and website. But obviously not too many people will just stumble onto it and listen.

I have posted in some forums when I release new stuff and I will get a spike of listens, and get some good feedback.

I was wondering if you guys new of any good forums where posting your music is welcome, or any other ways to get some more listens.

BTW I'm not selling anything and all of my music is freely available. It would just be more fun if some more people listened.

We've got an mp3 reviewing/critiquing forum here. You can usually get a couple listens there. (Though there's also the implied expectation that you listen to our stuff too!)

Really though, the way to get heard on the internet or not is to play a lot of gigs and network with other musicians and fans. People who enjoy your live show will be more likely to listen to your online content.
