LIsten, I know they cant sound the same.
BUT for the song 3 Libras(which was recorded with a les paul) I can get the EXACT same thing with my fender.
And keep in mind that Im 18, in college, and short on money...very short.
Ive started up my own business (http://gala.zfx.com) with the purpose of making money for new stuff. But for now I use and tweak what I have.
When I post my 1st recording I think youll be surprised what I got out of what I have.... just wait.
