long ago, far, far, away (Oops wrong story) Years ago, when I was in radio we used CEP v1.0 and it was the one that rocked! I have been asked to start doing voice overs again, and have been thinking about building a home studio to put it all together. The equipment list I have of stuff is as follows:

Pentium 4 3.0 ASUS system 1gig memory
Wavetable 192L soundcard
Behringer Eurorack MX1604a mixer
E/V BK1242 mixer
Shure SM58 mic
Shure SM57 mic
E/V ND357 mic
E/V ND757 mic
E/V RE20 mic
QSC 700 amp (for playback)
JBL Studio monitors (old but still sound good)
Cool edit pro v1.0
Spare bedroom 11'x12' with double 5/8" sheetrock walls

OK everyone... What do I keep, and what do I upgrade? The computer will be dedicated just for recording. The teenagers know that its not a gaming/chatting machine. I also expect that I should get a new copy of CEP, but that has gone to become Audition right?

Thanks for all of your input,
Thom

the first thing you should do is get rid of that old RE20....ill take it and dispose of it properly if you wish....:p
