I have several programs that need to be inserted into Sonar via ReWire. Reason and P5 are both complex programs with lots of instruments etc. However, there is an option to insert the new v1.2 of DR008 as a rewire device.
What is the advantage of using something as a rewire device instead of inserting it like a regular synth? Below are some things about Rewire listed in the Sonar help file, but does Rewire take extra processing power etc?
I did a quick search, but didn't see anything... sorry if this question has been asked before.
