Gear on the brain

Am I alone in this or does anybody else automatically relate numbers they encounter in everyday life back to audio gear? I just looked at the clock and saw that it was 4:51. My mind automatically thought "AKG". If I'm dialing someone who's phone number is 456-1073, I instantly think "Ampex-Neve". Is this normal or a sign of insanity?

I think it's boarderline, but as long as you don't start kissing boys you'll probably be ok. Or maybe it means you need to spend more money on gear.

Well, I don't call myself crazydoc for nothin.

I started asking myself, what is more important - sex or music? It probably would be whichever I ain't gettin enough of.
I guess if it came to one over the other I'd have to choose music - it lasts longer and is more emotionally satisfying.

Sex or gear? - I don't know.
