Hi folks, Greets from Perth, Western Australia.
I've just bought a Fostex VF-160, so as I'm likely to to need some help in the future, I thought the polite thing to do would be to introduce myself. The name's Ron, but you can call me deker. I've lurked around this BBS and this forum in particular for a while now and it seems to be populated by people who really know their stuff.
My next purchase will be a drum machine - probably a DR670, and a decent set of headphones (any reccomendations?) - until I afford to get some monitors.
I'm a guitarist, but I can sing, play bass and I've programmed drum machines before.
I mainly like rock'n'roll ( a la MC5, Hellacopters, Sonics Rendezvous Band, BBabies, Hydromatics) but I'm open minded enough to listen without prejudice, much
My pride and joy axe is a '66 Epiphone Olympic, made in Kalamazoo.
Anyway, I've said enuff for a newbie...
cheers!
