Hey, can you guys take a listen to my song i wrote for my GCSE music intergrated assignment. You probably better know that its meant to represent a storm. i am quite happy with the midi sounds i got so i pay stay like this. Thanks

Here it is:

The compoisition is fine, but here's the problem...

A lot of sequenced music is written EXACTLY in time and therefore sounds very sterile; no performance dynamics in volume, timbre, or timing. Because of this it's very boring to listen to.

You can sometimes breathe life into it by using the 'humanize' or 'randomize' parameter in your sequencer, but the best thing is usually to perform the piece without a click track and play it yourself instead of just using the mouse to enter notes in a drum roll window.

sounds good man, yeah it does drag on alittle, but it must be hard to make it not with a whole song just midi.

Ehh, what is this meant to be? A storm?

I don't get the idea.

Sounds like a Casio keyboard set on random...

cheers guys, il look tob record some of the tracks today
