Here's a little ditty about Gary Coleman that was written and recorded in less time it took to mix down. Not really..but maybe.

No, that's not me singing. But the spoken part where the song goes half time is me.

P.S. Overhead and snare on the drums were done with those public speaking mics (see the microphones forum) I thought it turned out pretty good.

The drums are decent for that style of music, maybe a bit more kick. I was just waiting for the "whatcha talkin' bout" phrase. Perhaps you can find a clip on the web and mix it in with your tune - just a thought.

Maybe three more cups of coffee, and you could break the sound barrier. Sounded great. My daughter sez, crazy, insane, and she likes it!! We won't let you slip down the list again, after this one.

Just curious, how many takes? Even one would be a workout. Keep up the good work!!

That tune is hilarious! I couldn't catch a single word of the lead vocals except an occasional "Gary Coleman" but it was cool. His style had me cracking up. I really liked the spoken section the middle with the guitar and the singer in the background while you explain to Gary what you really think of him. Worked really well. I also liked the stereo bouncing of "garycolemangarycolemangarycoleman" at the end. Keep it up.

Wow! I can't believe the good stuff you guys are saying about this song!

Fishmed: In the second verse "Gary Coleman, whatchoo talkin bout? You dont even know..."

GT: I think we did everything within a few takes, except the vocals. Those took a lot to get to sound even half way decent.

Tucci: Thanks, I didnt know if anyone would notice that thing at the end. We were actually going to just have on eperson say Gary Coleman over and over, but try saying Gary Coleman 10 times fast, and you'll see why we didnt!

Typed in a reply, last nighty, but it got deleted. Anyway, I thought it sounded really good. It was very fast, was that full speed for you guys?
