Garageband

Ive used Garageband on my ipad and found it pretty useful. Im thinking about buying a mac and at some point I will probably upgrade to Logic but im just curious if Garageband will be a descent program to use for awhile and help break into home recording.

It's basic. You said in the other thread that you had tried Reaper before, why not start with it?
