Garageband File Recovery

I took my macbook along to band practice tonight, and came up with the idea of just recording the whole thing on garageband using the internal mic (!!) to help me with learning the new songs.

Unfortunately I kinda forgot to plug in the power supply, and the battery ran out during recording.

Now when I open the project file, I don't see the audio files. If I look at the project file, it's 1.2GB in size, so obviously the wavs or aiffs or whatever are somewhere in that file.

Any thoughts on how to obtain the file or recover it into garageband?

Ah not to worry, I figured it out. It turns out that the .song file is actually a package which you can open in finder - simply by command clicking and selecting view package contents.
