Fundamental Stomp Boxes.......

Tons of stomps have come and gone but the ones that have stuck around are:

MXR Micro Amp
Boss DS1
Vox Wah

That's pretty much it. I wouldn't mind having some really nice stuff like a Moog analog delay or Fender Spring Reverb unit but I play mostly acoustic so that stuff is always on the back burner as far as purchases go ...

I used a T808 until I discovered the Micro Amp/DS1 combo. Never looked back. However, you gotta put the two together and tweak the levels just right - the DS1 is nothing without the MXR. Ironically, both of those put together still cost less than the Ibanez ...

right now, i'm just using an mjm blues devil and a line 6 echo park into a carvin vintage16, which has a nice accutronics reverb unit on it. i'm looking to expand a little bit though!

if you're short on duckets though, i got surprisingly good basic (fundamental) tones out of a behringer to800 (cheap tube screamer rip) into an epi valve junior combo.

anyone used the electro harmonix nano pedals? they look like they could be quite cool/useful for people with cramped pedal boards! as long as they sound similar to the original, or have their own (good) sound...

Andy.
