I am a hands on kind of guy, who is more of a finder of lost recording arts. I look for kewel vintage sounds. Here is a page, which I just started today, where I am using very crude eqpipment, to get a 30s vintage sound.

thats interesting stuff. how many recording setups like yours do you think still exist (and function)?? it kind of reminds me of my recordings thru my Behringer mixer and stock sound card, only a little less noisy.
