Fun little thing i was working on...

I pulled this off yesterday, just for fun, because I made a keyboard riff that I thought would sound good with drums. I don't play keyboard, so as you can tell, the keyboard riff consists of paradiddles. Once I recorded keyboard, I distorted it a bit, and put some drums, and guitar punches. I dont play guitar either, so theres not much talent in this song :D Anyway, let me know what you think. Its just supposed to be a jam-out song for drums.
 
holy Matrix Batman, nice job. What I liked most was the pulse that drives the whole mix between the synth and drums.
 
is that just a piano sound with distortion? how did you make the synth sound?
 
I have a P-120 yamaha keyboard, that had an electric bass tone that i liked. I took that, and put distortion on it, using Adobe Audition.

Dude, thats a nice keyboard. i'm running a Yamaha PSR-225, i don't use it much but yours kills mine. haha
 
heh, I never knew it could be cool :p We got it to replace an old piano to save space.
