Here's the deal. I need the drawing services of someone. I'm willing to trade something of value or pay a fair price. Contact me via PM. Please have some examples of your work.

You will get proper credit.

It's a very broad question............there's people who excell at one style of drawing but are useless at another ad infinitum, so it may help if you can be more specific to what you require.

my thoughts exactly.

while i have 2 years worth of study in architectural drawing, i can't draw a picture of a dog.

so what kinda drawing you need? floorplan, home elevation, renovated studio floorplan ;)

finally decide to ditch the whole 'living room', 'dining room' and 'bedroom' thing and just make a big studio? :D :D

I was a commercial artist for a while. What do you need?

If by, "draw really well," you mean pictures of stick figures engaged in sexual congress then, yes, my drawings are exquisite! :p

Yeah, what sort of drawing do you need?

I do alot of artwork. I used to do portraits and I also used to illustrate a newsletter for a fantasy role playing club. I'm a big fan of fantasy art.

I don't have any examples on my computer, so I'd have to scan something in.

Ha, that's also my specialty. Except I draw huge knockers on the lady stick figures.

All I can really say is it's for an album cover and requires a somewhat realistic touch to the drawing. Somewhere between cartoony and real...except more on the real side.

Yeah, still too vauge....

Sounds like you need to find an artist who specialises in the required genre and not just someone who can "draw well".

Like maybe a pencil drawing of an actual photo? I know a young guy (20's) who is very talented at that type of drawing. Don't know if he would be interested but can ask if this is what you're looking for. I can take photo's of some of his work and email. Attached is a drawing he did of my son and his wife. The flash really whited it out but you get the idea. Low resolution jpg also. I'm sure he would be very reasonable if he even charged. There's one pencil drawing he did of a Keith Urban cover that's just incredible. Couple of years in college majoring in art and now does land survey work. Go figure.

DD,

That's kinda what I mean......apart from having worked in, among other things, oils and acrylics, I used to do a fair amount of photo-realistic work in pencil, BUT, if someone were to ask me to draw some anime or comic/characture images, I would have to pass as it's not my forte.

Yeah Aus. Same with this guy. He's not into the comic kind of stuff.

It's hard to find anyone that specializes in anything. That's why I was over-generalizing. I don't know a lot about drawing and the different styles. I just know what I don't want.

I guess I'm looking for a drawing that, in the end, will have an airbrushed look.

Well you can get that look

By doing the artwork in Painter on the PC. You need a pen tablet and an expensive software, but the results are amazing.. They look just as real as a painting, pastel, or drawing. Check this out, it's amix of real pencil and painter charcoal. You couldn't tell the difference even in person.

By the way what is it you want to trade? I am an artist and so is my wife.

If you want, when you find the artist, you can have them draw a picture of me for the cover.

that's only if you want to sell 1,000,000 records. if not, then don't bother putting his picture on your album cover and go easier on the cowbell.

Anything like this, would you be looking for? And how much are you looking to spend?
