RME Digiface breakout box with PCI interface card for sale. The PCI card is the Steinberg Nuendo Audiolink 96. This is the same card as the RME HDSP PCI card. Do not be fooled, the Steinberg PCI card is *made* by RME. In fact, for driver and firmware updates Steinberg links to the RME site (http://www.steinberg.net/DocSupport...drivers_pro_pc_en.html&Langue_ID=&Product_ID=)!
This setup has been rock solid for me due to the fact that RME makes fantastic drivers. The only reason I am selling this setup is because my studio I/O formats are changing.
A quick check on the net and the lowest price I found for the two items bundled was $768 at Eastcoastmusicmall.com. I am asking $550 and for the buyer to pay shipping. Interested parties can send an e-mail to brad AT 618productions DOT com.
Here are the details on the breakout box and the PCI card:
RME Digiface
(the following taken from http://www.rme-audio.com/english/hdsp/digifa.htm)
Digiface offers 3 ADAT optical I/Os, ADAT-Sync In, SPDIF I/O and word clock I/O like its predecessor. On top, there are 2 MIDI I/Os and a separate analog line out. Thanks to its unique 'Zero CPU Load' technology Hammerfall DSP guarantees highest performance and lowest latency on both notebooks and desktops!
3 x ADAT digital I/O, based on RME's reliable Bitclock PLL
1 x SPDIF digital I/O, based on RME's reliable DIGI96 technology
1 x ADAT Sync In (9-pin D-type) for sample accurate transfers
1 x Word clock I/O (BNC)
1 x analog Line/headphone output, separate output for independent submix
2 x MIDI I/O, 32 channels high-speed MIDI
HDSP Meter Bridge: freely scalable level meters, peak- and RMS calculation directly in hardware
TotalMix: 1456 channel mixer with 40 bit internal resolution
S/MUX poured in hardware: 12 channels 96 kHz/24 bit for record and playback on ADAT optical
RME HDSP PCI Card:
(the following taken from http://www.rme-audio.com/english/hdsp/cardpci.htm#PCI)
100% Plug & Play compatible
Hammerfall hardware design: mono channels in block mode, organized in 32 bit ASIO double buffers
ASIO poured in hardware! 0 (zero!)% CPU load when using the maximum number of channels (52)
Byte swap for Mac included in hardware
Automatic hardware selftest when booting
Hardware update via software (virtual EPROM update)
Complete interrupt sharing
Short PCI 2.0 compliant PCI card
Zero wait state PCI Busmaster interface (130 MB/s transfer rate in both directions)
