I just upgraded to a G5 so I don't need this anymore.

G4 PPC Dual 1.25 w/2gb RAM

I have a G4 PPC Dual 1.25 w/2gb RAM, 60GB hard-drive, FW800. I installed a new power supply in this 6 months ago. great computer for graphics/audio editing. This is the last model of PPC G4 before the production of the G5. This has been a great machine. Here is the link for the computer. Pics upon request. $625 Shipped domestic...OBO

The computer line was introduced in 2003. It was the last model of G4 Powermac before they introduced the G5. it is also the only G4 with FireWire800 capability.
 
A couple quick questions maybe you can answer....(I never owned a MAC, but want one)

First - Why does it seem that MAC computers always seem to have a low Hard Drive Capacity?? And also they seem to have a lesser RAM capacity?? (alot seem to only have 1/2 what the common PC offers these days,,,like 512 RAM>?)

Second - Is this MAC you have going to be reformatted and OS reinstalled so it does not have your Data on it?

Third - Does it come with all the software that came with it. And with MAC's does that include software to do reformats and OS reinstalls??

Thanks and sorry for the questions, but I just never worked on a MAC before.

PM received. Would you consider a trade of something good for it?? I have a new Yamaha Digital 16 track Recorder with built in CD burner. It's valued more then your asking for the MAC, but I may trade it if your interested>?>? (use like 2 or 3 tiimes,,,still in box)

It does not include a monitors and as far as that trade goes i don't really need a multi track recorder because I do everything in Logic. I might be open to other things though
 
Speak to me..whatcha looking for? :D I gots lots of toys that need a new homes since the new Studio build.

Too bad you dont need a Mixer. I have 2 - 24X8 Mackies to unload (along with like 3 or 4 other consoles as well).

Anything Pa or Recording, I might have it stashed somewhere. ;)

What ya lookin for?

Also the Philly trip idea I like. I am from right outside Harrisburg, PA. ;)

Maybe some mics, or preamps. I really want the money though because I have a great deal on a mytek ADC lined up.
