The other guy was running his car with no working brake lights and guess what happened!

Adding to the offtopic-ness, but I'm glad you're okay, moresound!

Speaking of car accidents, some guy backed into my driver door about a month ago. My door still functions (just a widespread dent in it) and his insurance wrote me a nice check for it. Guess what I spent the money on?

I've spent a lot lately, some of it before the accident happened --

bought a new CPU (quadcore)
8 GB of RAM
Beta 52 and three 57s in a drum mic kit -- used
one more SM57 -- used
two Audio Technica Pro37Rs -- used
a bunch of cables
a short snake
a couple rackmount drawers
a rackmount PC case (can't wait to get it in and switch my PC over to it)
a patch bay -- used
a plug-in
another 15" LCD monitor -- used (it's going to be 15" on left, 22" in center, and 15" on right)
and also spent $200 on Sony Vegas Pro. Wanted a decent video editing program.
