I have a, 8 channel Focusrite Octopre LE + ADAT card add-on for sale in NYC or shipped.
I'm asking $325 for both. I've just gotten Metric Halo hardware (a 2882 to match my ULN2) ... so I don't need this many inputs anymore.. .
has +72dB of gain (896HD has +42dB, and RME Octamic II has +60dB of gain)
impedence matching inputs (ribbon or DI) on the first two channels
front panel TRS jacks, makes it act like a partially normalled digital patchbay.
Nice piece of gear, clean and clear and stays out of the way. . . how I like it, I attached a transfer function curve of THIS exact unit .. I can take other tests on request. Open to offers, . . . .

THIS units freq + phase response .. you can see the frequency and phase is excellent and flat down to about 16Hz (with a slight phase shift below 20hz due to the large wareform size) and excellent frequency response all the way up to 20.8kHz .. very smooth, very flat, very clean ... the sharp curve after 20.8kHz is the anti aliasing filter of the 44.1K sample rate this test was run at ...
-- it isn't letting me post a picture ?? ... I added the jpg as an attachement .. check out the frequency graph .. how mnay preamps come with one? Only really expensive mics are tested this way .... you know exactly what your getting that way .
