i hadn't made my mind up about this ...BUT..


Mint condition digi 003 for sale.

comes in original packaging with firewire cable, power cable, cd copy of PT8 download, and serial number for PT8 le.

The only problem you are gonna face it the fact that EVERYONE is trying to unload their 002's and 003's. That makes their overall value drop like a stone with a weight tied around it.
Not saying anything about the 003. Just trying to point out the obvious. And give you a free bump...

Yeah thats is a pretty nice deal. And if it were the rack version I might. Because Id take it and Black Lion it. But unfortunately they dont do that mod on the mixer version. Which Sux...

Of course it's nice.

Having it as a control surface would be hecka nice for those who don't. I'd be jumpin' on this if I didn't already have PT + 002.

Okay, I understand about the 002's, but is the 003 currently or about to be obsolete? And what rock have I been living under?;)

yeah man, i think it's easy to forget that although digi hardware is often perceived as being the pro tools ball and chain, they still make pretty good interfaces.


I was talking to a guy today who may be interested in buying. He said he wanted a 003 console and then he was gona buy PT9...

my first thought was,,why?? i'm SELLING it to get PT9 and some cheaper interface...

just goes to show, it's a damn good interface. ;)

As of PT9, you know longer have to use Avid/Digidesign hardware. So everybody is dumping their 002's and 003's so they can buy something else to use with Pro Tools.

I'm probably alone in this, but I have the feeling that in a couple of months a lot of people are going to discover that:
  • The new hardware isn't really that much better
  • The 002's/003's really weren't that bad.
  • It wasn't the hardware that was causing their recordings to be sh*tty.
C'est la vie...and always it will be...
 
Ill buy it for £300 :D

just got my self a new mbox pro, you should reduce the price, you can buy them new for that amount.

Ok, maybe you cant find them cheaper new.

I would snap it off you anyday, if I had the money. I have used a project mix and loved the intergrated surface and interface.
All in all I think these things are good pieces of gear. I would if I could mate :D
