"Hi, I'm in Delaware."
I'm looking at upgrading my studio setup, but I need to be able to scrape together the money to do so first... Is anyone interested in either of these things? I have a general idea of what I'd like to get for them, but I'm willing to negotiate a little bit. I won't be able to ship the 1010LT out until May 5th, though, as most of the stuff that goes with it is at home. It will come with all the stuff it came with (including the loops and what not), but it might not be in it's original box. It's still in great condition, I just don't need it anymore. The Q10 only comes with all the hardware, but you'll have to download the drivers/software and manual (I can give you the web site for that).

1010LT - $120
Q10 - $220

+shipping. If, for some reason, you want to buy them both, I'll consolidate shipping costs. Otherwise, expect it to be about $10 for shipping. I'll make sure they are taken care of.

EDIT: You know, in the spirit of good customer service, I'll put all the different drivers for the Q10 and the manual on a CD for you when I ship it out. Also, if you want the 1010LT but you really can't wait for me to ship it out, I have the card and the connector thing with all the RCA plugs on it that I can ship out right away and then send you the manual, CDs, and the MIDI cables when I get home.

:( no one's interested? I'll lower the prices a bit:

1010LT - $100 (the lowest I can find this new is $200, so that seems fair)
Q10 - $200 (these went for like $700)

Both are in good condition. The knobs on the Q10 are a little wobbly, but I think that's just because of the way they were made. They were like that when I got it, but they work fine.

Anyone?

What "real world" differences are there between the 1010 and 1010LT........is it only the rack facility or are there "better" features on the 1010?

As far as I know, the rack thing is one of them, but also the regular 1010 has all 1/4" inputs whereas the LT has phono plugs (except for two XLR inputs, which also have preamps). Beyond that, I don't think there's a whole lot of difference.

Ok, the 1010LT is on hold for right now.

I'd like to clarify that $10 is for shipping anywhere in the continental US, but I will ship anywhere in the world (we just have to adjust shipping costs).

For those of you who didn't already know, the Q10 is a really nice interface that comes with a shielded PCI card and rackmountable interface. The interface has 8 preamps, four of which can do +48v and two of which can be switched to guitar direct inputs. All inputs are mic or line level and accept either XLR or 1/4" inputs. There are also 8 1/4" outputs, 4 inserts, monitor outs (and a headphone output), SPDIF in/out, wordclock in/out (BNC), and MIDI in/out. You can link multiple units together as well, so it's very expandable (as long as you have the spare PCI slots). There's nothing wrong with it--as I said, it's very nice, I just want something more portable (firewire).

1010LT is SOLD. Q10 is still available. Someone out there must want it... :(

Ok, price drop.

Q10 is now $195. I'd rather not have to go to eBay for this. Shipping is still $10.
