Well, I am using fruity loops....and I can see you can render the loops as a wave file, but what about exporting to Midi, the option is there, but when I do, the file is empty?....whats up?

empty?

What do you mean by "empty"? Remember, the program triggers wav files which will not be in a midi file, only the timing of the triggering would be there, so I would expect a very small (and useless) file.

hmmm

so, basically the midi file is useless to try and build around.....the only way to use the loops is to export to a wave file? Then insert it into PA?

hmmmm, seems archaic

archaic?

Well, that's computers for you.

By the way, this is the Cakewalk Forum. I think you got off the train at the wrong station.

is there a Fruity loops forum?

Guess I just figured since im using it with Cakewalk, somebody would know something....hehe

nope

But there's a MIDI forum at https://homerecording.com/bbs/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=22 for what that's worth. Anyway, I've always used Fruity Loops to put together something that sounds cool, then mix that down to a wav and open that in N-tracks (multitrack software) or Acid (multi track and loops) for more manipulations and changes and fun.

Does anyone remember laughter?

well, laughter.....let me get the bustle out of my hedgerow, and I'll let u know!!!
