Greetings-
I've got a copy of Fruity Loops and can't seem to get my head around it. I can make a decent (robotic-sounding)beat on it but don't exactly like the kits on there. Is there a way to put together your own kit?
Also any recommended settings for the beats per bar, etc. options??
Everyone else digs this program. Must not be getting something.

Easy..

Change up the bar settings, fool around with the options. I use to sequence with FL, once you learn about the program you can make GREAT drum tracks with it. Yes, you can create your own kit if you want. Just right click on your channel, somewhere it should say "Load Sample", it would have to be a .wav because FL cant use mp3 samples or any other formats. I found a great kit and some nice percussion samples and put together some good beats, just messing with it. Can I save my kit to Fruity Loops or do I have to load my files every time I re-start a song?? Can I just create a preset?
