Is there anyway I can take a guitar track that I've recorded and saved as a .wav or .mp3 file, and import it into Fruity Loops to write a drum track over it?

wouldn't it just be easier to write the drum beat in fruity loops so that it fits to the guitar track and then export the new drum track. Then later combine it with the guitar track in another software.

Yeah, but I'd like to just dick around mindlessly on my guitar, and then go back and put drums to whatever I just did.

I think that would be extremely difficult to do unless you have excellent timing. Import your audio into an slot and drag it to the playlist. Then try to line the beat with the bars with your mouse. you might could find a couple of parts that line in time and cut them and make loops. then try to match a drum beat to it.
