Fruity Loops Help

I am trying to get my sustain pedal to work in Fruity loops with the vstinstrument plugin called Plugsound. When ever I press the pedal, I get a yellow colored midi signal light flashing so I know my pedal is working but than the sound coming from my VST plugin doesnt sustain when I press on the sustain pedal.. Is it my fruity loops that is not configured properly or is it my plugin? I looked at both manuals and I cant find how to fix either

I think this is where I can fix the problem, but how do I even get to the "remote control settings" ???
