Fruity Loops 5 Question

I have fruity loops 5 and I was wondering since I am new to fl, how do you record vocals....that is if it does that. Any help would be appreaciated.
 
open up FL, look at the top, click on "help" then "contents" then "automation and recording" then "live recording."

its a pain in the ass to use FL as a recording program... your best bet is to ask one of these guys for a link to a free recording program somewhere, and work with that...

for my solo stuff (mostly acoustic/pop) i just use FL for the drum tracks and some instruments... but its great for makin beats, and sampling... you just gotta get used to it, so that your tracks dont have that infamous FL sound to em lol.
