(and this is computer forum, that's why it's here!)

BUT, I have several .FL files that when I open them (after having another file open, or after closing FL all togehter), the waveforms of multiple samples (not all, just some..and sometimes just one, and sometimes none!) come to look like the picture below instead.

If I edit ANYTHING in that menu that you can see in the picture below, it comes back to normal (so i just click remove DC offset on and off, and wala it's back to normal!).

But, WHY DOES IT DO THIS. I've tried save as, save new version, just saving normally...etc. etc.! It realy pisses me off! haha.

And of course, I wouldn't care if it was just the LOOKS, but it SOUNDS just how it LOOKS! haha. So if i hit play without doing anything, it'll just be like a song of terrible clicking harsh harsh noises. haha..

any ideas?

The only thing I can say is, that's not actually a wave file. That's a drumsynth sound (*.ds). They get rendered to wave files in FruityLoops. Maybe something is not rendering correctly. When you first load the DS files, do they load right, or is this only when you load a project?

Have you considered upgrading to FLStudio? I haven't used Fruity 4 in months. The upgrade to the FLStudio FruityLoops edition is, of course, free.
