Does anyone have any experience using this card?
I'm looking for a simple 2 channel only card that accepts either AES/EBU or spdif (coax only) formats. This card has an additional ADAT light pipe, which would be nice, but is not mandatory for my needs.
I'm just wondering if anyone out there has used this card and has any good or bad experiences to share.
Also, since my board outputs in AES/EBU ... I'm looking for a converter to bring that output into a coax. According to Frontier Design, I don't need to convert to spdif, as the WaveCenter/PCI can be set to accept AES/EBU. So, I think that a converter would only affect impedence or something (?).
Anyway, I can't find any info on the Hosa CDL-313 converter that they recommend. If anyone has any info on that, I'd appreciate it.
