we don't need rest!!
is this theory have lesser importance nowadays?? (realizing ALL treatments are important)

seems you don't see much of the acoustial treatments(as compared to the side walls, and especially the rear wall) in front of the console, AND especially behind the speakers if they are out from the wall a bit and not flush mounted. Bass traps and all seem to be much more popular in use than damping reflections off the front wall.

I kinda thought that with a big window, typically,...and a console...all that reflective stuff, that front wall reflections were among the "worst"

whatever happened to LEDE?

Elaborate on the RIP John.

Basicly what your saying is that the concept today is to have a more live sound but to take care of the early reflections as in - treat the reflections but don't kill the room. Correct?

Am I correct in saying that the glass isn't a issue as it is set so that the reflections will bounce away from the mix seating point?.
Same concept with the front walls. Aside from some absorbing, all other parts were aimed at reflecting away from the mix point in order to create a "reflection free" section (to a degree of course).
